Today, visiting a ‘friend’ I was given uncalled for advice… and believe it or not. It stuck!

What he told me was that the biggest deterrent for finishing a PhD was procrastination. (No surprise there.)

But the second biggest (though almost equal to the first) deterrent for finishing a PhD was perfectionism. (Hmmm)

Well, sadly I find myself in a combination of both; that can’t be good can it.

I know I’m not a perfectionist, neither am I procrastinating… but it feels like I am somehow in both perils (quest for quality and not being run by time). Still, I know I have-to-have-to-have-to (this is not a typo) finish this week.

Hopefully by Friday I will be posting the end of my Greek Exegetical module!
